It was Friday night, and the local bar scene was the go-to spot for our narrator (Original Poster). OP loved to unwind at their favorite bars, surrounded by familiar faces and the comforting hum of laughter. 

However, this particular Friday, OP decided to check out a new brewery/restaurant that opened its doors only a few months ago. Who would have thought this little diversion would set the stage for a night that would be anything but ordinary?

As they cozied up to the bar, sipping in anticipation, a lady strolled in with an audacious flair. She sat herself a few stools away, then proceeded to do something shocking—plopping a 5-pound fur ball onto the bar top! 

The shockwave hit OP—this wasn't your usual night out. Regulations be damned, this lady seemed to be pushing the boundaries of social norms with her furry companion. So why wasn’t anyone saying anything?

OP confronted the bartender for staring in silence, but they nonchalantly declared it a service dog. This only fueled OP’s anger, and a clash began when they were unable to contain the disgust.

Words flew like confetti in a heated exchange, drawing attention from the surrounding patrons. The bartender, perhaps eager to end the spectacle, sided with the lady. OP’s fate? A comped drink and a boot out the door.
