Love is a universal and funny thing. You can’t really define it, but you can see it and feel it. And there are so many kinds of love, but at the same time – it’s all love. If this explanation is complicated, it’s because love is complicated.
But at the same time – it’s the simplest thing in the world…. Yes, we are going around in circles here. That’s because love is unexplainable… Okay, we will drop it now…
José Rodolfo Loaiza Ontiveros, an artist from Mazatlan, Mexico, wanted to show that love transcends genders and social norms, and his illustrations did a hell of a better job than our explanation at the beginning of the article. He draws Disney characters as same-sex couples and gives different happy endings to our favorite movies.

José Rodolfo Loaiza OntiverosJosé's drawings are inspired by Pop Art and Lowbrow Art. His newest project, called "Dramaholics," demonstrates the power of love by portraying heterosexual and homosexual couples. Maybe this series will give Disney executives some ideas, and we could finally see a character who identifies as LGBTQ+ or even same-sex couples in the movies?
