Online Artist Famous For Making People Cry With Her Animal Comics Has Released A New Comic

by Stephanie

Jenny Jinya is known for making people cry with her emotional Loving Reaper comic series. The artist started the series with the sad story of a dog who was left behind.

Over time, Jenny has added to the series and included many different animal stories - rabbits, birds, elephants, you name it! And now she is back with another heartbreaking story about a canine who is left outside to freeze.

Zeus is a loving dog who spends his days out in the cold, tied to his kennel. But, despite the way he is treated, Zeus still loves his family.

Jenny prides herself on researching her themes extensively, and this one is no exception. It is a sad fact that there are countless animals left outside to die in freezing conditions.

"I wanted to take up this topic for so long," Jenny said.

"It annoys me that there still are people who believe their dog can handle everything, as if they’re keeping a wild wolf in their garden."

"But our dogs are tamed, they have adapted to our circumstances. Most breeds of dogs do not tolerate the cold (Northern breeds excepted)."

"Finally, I’ve developed an idea for a story that I can build around the problem," she said. Jenny says there is definitely a common theme throughout all of her comics.

"I’ve had the feeling for the last year that I’ve moved away from the ‘roots of my comics.’ That’s not necessarily bad, but sometimes I had the impression that I had forgotten why I started Loving Reaper at all," she explained.

"I’ve lost some of my motivation and inspiration. I tried to get it back with this comic."
