Lady Tells Roommates To Buy Food For Her 120 Pounds Dog After They Over-Fed Him
"They can buy him extra food because I refuse to pay for him to be over fed each day."

When it comes to our dogs, we find out that we can do almost anything for them, and that includes making sure that their tummies always have the right portion of food daily. And believe me when I say that they don’t joke with their meals.
There are times when these dogs even remind their hooman that it’s meal time. There are times when you wake up and they’re just staring at you while judging you for not serving them early enough.
Yet in all these things, we still find them adorable, and that is what today’s post is all about. But the funny thing is that this story happened to be posted in the r/AITA subreddit community, and you might wonder why.
Not to worry, as we’re here to fill you in on the details. Apparently, the original poster is a 28-year-old female who lives with three male roommates who are in their early and mid-thirties.
The OP happened to own a "4-year-old, 120lb Presa Canario mastiff that they help out with as needed." But then, the OP noticed that she had to buy the dog’s food more than normal, so she confronted her roommates, and they said that they had to feed him more to appease him.
That was when things started falling out of place.
The Headline...

I feed him every morning and every evening

He “acts crazy” around food so they “have to” feed him more

They are saying they will keep doing this

Should I not have hid his food from them?

Here is the edit that the OP added later on

The reddit thread received 1.4k upvotes in only 5 days after being posted. The comments were in disarray as some redditors were against the OP, some supported her, and the rest just declared everyone at fault.

20. They are not required to help at all

Our furry buddies are our closest companions, and it’s our job to make sure that they’re comfortable. The OP just wanted to make sure her dog was fed well, but then she didn’t have to impose that on her roommates.
