The Domino's Connection: From Daily Orders To A Dramatic Rescue

Well this just explains how har dit is to have a roommate and how complicated things can be.
We're back here again with yet another amazing Reddit post that we'll be dissecting and looking into. This thread is the Malicious Compliance thread, which is where people go to talk about situations involving something that someone's asking them not to do, which they abide by, even though it makes that person's life a little bit worse.
So, in this case, we're looking at a post where someone is talking about how the roommate wants to talk to the landlord about some problem in their apartment but doesn't want OP to call the landlord since they want to do it themselves. However, when OP calls them about something different, they come and fix the issue; OP's roommate is even more mad that they didn't fix the problem that she was upset about.
Obviously, that's because she never called to tell the landlord and because she wanted to do it herself so badly; OP didn't mention it to the landlord at all when he came to fix something else. This situation is just too good because it's petty but harmless, and it clearly made her very upset.
If you're interested in hearing the full story and seeing the whole original post, then keep on reading as we dive in and check out all the comments and the full post.
We love hearing about different roommates' stories and seeing what people say about their malicious compliance. This thread is always so fun, and the stories truly don't even disappoint.
Have you ever been in a situation like this where doing something someone asked you to do actually made them mad?
