Believe it or not, the world has seen its fair share of famous cats. Famous cats include those from our favorite comics and cartoons like Garfield and The Cheshire Cat, but multi-media famous is not the only kind of famous that exists when it comes to cats.
In fact, some of the most famous cats in modern history are or were famous for memes. Before their passing, Tardar Sauce was the one and only Grumpy Cat, and Lil Bub was a cat with feline dwarfism (which gave her the endearing appearance of permanently looking like a kitten.)
Throughout recent history, cats have done incredible things. For example, a Canadian cat named Snowball once helped solve a murder.
That must sound extraordinary, but it's all because of something virtually all cats are notorious for: shedding. Snowball, who was owned by the murderer, simply left some of her "cat glitter" on the murder victim.
Of course, cats don't have to be famous on Instagram or for the homicide detectives in Canada to be a daily delight to cat lovers everywhere! That's where social media platforms like Reddit, Imgur, and Twitter come in handy.
Social media has significantly expanded our ability to partake in consuming as much cat-themed media as humanely possible... turns out that's a lot.
There you have it. Another delightful collection of curious, bizarre, ridiculous, and lovably absurd cats doing what cats do best.
Life with cats may as well be considered the ultimate gift that keeps giving and that's because you never know what you're going to get but you'll never want to turn back the hands of time.
