There are certain things that are so absurd that they give rise to fan theories that are insane yet plausible. Like characters that don't change their clothes throughout a movie or crabs who magically father whales.

However, the likelihood of there being no explanation is higher. Nobody involved in the creative process is thinking logically, so why should they, too?

Since cartoons and logic don't necessarily have to align, they have never been a good combination. That holds true for both the worlds themselves and the physics present in the cartoon worlds.

Cartoon physics and logic are so horribly broken that they violate all known laws. What do we actually know, though?

Not quite as much as these cartoons, which routinely appear to perform miracles. There is Blossom, the fingerless Powerpuff Girl who makes use of chopsticks to eat; there’s Tom and Jerry, who spend the entire day naked but dressed in clothes while at the beach; there’s the prince who can recognize the face of the girl he loves; and so much more.

All this goes to show that these characters aren’t bound by the rules of physics or any logical plot twists. Here are some of the most illogical scenes from our favorite animated films.
