28 People Recount The Moment They Realized They Couldn’t Handle Their Horrible Bosses Anymore

Millions of people worldwide have bosses, and some people will work under a boss for the rest of their lives.

Some people are lucky enough to meet bosses that steer them into the right paths and serve as their mentors. Unfortunately, that’s not the case for the majority.

According to research, over 57% of unhappy employees leave their jobs because of their bosses.

When you put this percentage into perspective, you realize that several bosses lack accurate leadership skills but instead succeed in frustrating their employees.

Another research found that more than 53% of people considering leaving their jobs want to change roles because of their manager.

Based on this, it’s safe to say employees leave their bosses, not their jobs.

A considerable portion of a person's happiness in their workplace is from having a good boss. Working in a place with good management will not only improve an employee’s productivity but will help mitigate stress, which in turn allows for a better mental state.

We found several posts detailing how ridiculous some bosses' requests can be on the r/ChoosingBeggars subreddit.

Different employees shared their experiences, ranging from hilarious to downright disturbing. Check them all out below!

It’s incredible how terrible some bosses are to their employees. We bet a good number of these posts shocked you. They surprised us too.

While reading them was fun, we certainly feel sympathy towards the people who experience these horrid things.
