Lost And Found: The Story Of Derinkuyu's Underground Metropolis

"It was like they didn’t put in the effort to order the one I wanted"
Having a baby, especially if it's your first child, comes with a roller coaster of emotions. You tend to plan everything ahead of time.
You would likely sit down and write a list of every item you would require throughout the first year of your child's life even before the baby is born. If it is your first child, you probably took that list to your neighborhood baby store and made a gift registry there.
Who knows, a playpen was undoubtedly on that list. It was probably something you added without giving it much thought and it is one of the baby items the Redditor in today's story intended on buying for the arrival of the baby.
The OP sent a link to a playpen that she wanted to get for the baby to her in-laws, who asked to buy what was missing for the baby. The playpen had the wanted color, with music and vibration features.
It also has multiple pockets and a big space for pampers bottles and so on. Her SIL ended up getting her the one they got, which has a color she doesn't like, a smaller area to put baby things, and no outside pocket.
The OP felt awkward with these things and felt like saying thank you, as she truly didn't want them. But then, the OP didn't know how to go about it, so she decided to reach out to the AITA subreddit community.
Here are some of the most upvoted comments from Redditors below.
Onesies! Child monitors! Swings and slings and so much more are what we tend to buy when a baby is arriving.
Everything has to be on the list, and when your baby shower rolled around, you see that you have done very well. The OP was just trying to get the best as this is their first child but then, Redditors declared him the A-Hole because she sounded like an entitled person amongst other things.
