Reddit user u/DueEstablishment8602 decided to share her work-related story, which took an unexpected turn and received some unexpected reactions from other members of the online community.
The 26-year-old woman had just finished her master's degree and started a new job with her coworker, 27-year-old Thea, whom the original poster found very inspiring with her work accomplishments.
Little did the woman realize that her admiration for her coworker's agenda would backfire. The Reddit user stated that she began her job immediately after receiving her master's degree.
She later revealed that it wasn't her first job, as she worked part-time while still studying, but this workplace was significant to her because it was her first full-time job after finishing her education. Her employer had hired Thea, who is still in graduate school, just two months before she took this job.
The original poster stated that she admired Thea's efficiency and ability to balance school and important work projects. Because of this, she decided it would be a good idea to join Thea's projects so she could learn from her.
The whole debacle started when the author of the post decided to ask her coworker Thea if she could add her to one of the on-going projects and it made Thea upset
