Redditors Bash User Who Intends To Report Neighbor's German Shepherd Who Has Never Displayed Aggressive Behavior

Well, well, well. Looks like those puppies next door are getting a little feisty and causing quite the commotion with their nonstop barking.

But before you grab your pitchfork and start a neighborhood revolt, why not try to solve the issue peacefully by talking to your neighbor first? Because let's face it, calling 911 every time Fido barks is not exactly how we want to spend our days (and nights).

And besides, they may not even realize that their darling little pup is driving everyone insane. So take a deep breath and calmly explain the situation.

Chances are they'll want to correct the problem just as much as you do. And if all else fails, remember that local laws may provide some relief in extreme cases of nuisance animals.

Don't sweat it though... And we hope it doesn't come to that.

But this redditor we're going to talk about today sure is meddlesome. And perhaps ignorant.

You see, they want to report a neighbor's German Shepherd only because they saw the big boi with a gentle leader. They're quick to make assumptions that the doggo has a behavior issue of some sort.

The original poster (OP) never even saw it being aggressive. Now, this person came to the "Am I The A**hole?" subreddit for some advice, and of course, to be judged.

As you may have guessed the OP's plan to report the dog rubbed redditors the wrong way.

We hope that the OP has been educated about gentle leaders and muzzles. It's probably best for the OP to talk to the neighbor if they're really nervous about what the dog can potentially do.

If they hear the pet owner's side, maybe the OP will stop overthinking and start minding their own business. Who knows, they might even be friends with the neighbor and the doggo.
