Boundaries are important.

Sharing a living space with other people is not always the easiest thing. This is because it requires some understanding and respect between both parties.
For example, housemates should respect each other’s privacy and boundaries to keep the home peaceful. When this doesn’t happen, conflicts occur.
Unfortunately, there are a host of individuals out there who make for terrible housemates. They never do their share of the chores or respect other people’s items.
We found a Redditor who threw his sister out of his house for this very reason.
OP shared on the AITA subreddit that his younger sister was finding it difficult to get a house, so she broke into his car and slept there one night.
When he found her, he asked her to come in and allowed her to stay with him for a while. This was working well for them until he came home from work and found that she had ripped the sci-fi world-building project that he’d been writing since he was 15 up.
He got upset, and her response to his question of why she had done it made it even worse. OP then asked her to leave his house, and she left crying.
When his parents heard about what had happened, they questioned OP’s reaction, leading him to ask the critical AITA question.
