This Guy Grew Up Fat, Lost Half His Body Weight And Now Looks Exactly Like A Disney Prince

It's that time again! The time of year that we all are swearing to diets and exercise to get our bodies in shape for the beach. Most of us lose interest after the first week and think, "screw it I'll just be fat on the beach, nobody will even look at me anyway."

Well, this guy proved that anything is possible with his hard work and dedication. It all started when 26-year-old Jeffrey Kendall lived with his mother and took care of her after she had a brain aneurysm. 

"She was in a coma and rehab hospitals for 7 months until they deemed she had plateaued and was to be released since insurance would no longer cover her," Jeffrey said.

He always had confidence and body image issues since he was a little kid and taking care of his mother took an emotional toll on him.

"I had seen her in the hospitals where she could barely speak, I had seen her in the ICU where she couldn’t. I had seen her on the floor unable to wake up. To see her stare without the longing of a mother was heart-wrenching. It put a world of self-pity and pain in perspective to me."

Jeffrey desperately needed a pick me up and so did one of his friends. 

"My good friend was also in an emotional time after a breakup and wanted help to get in shape. It was a perfect reason for me to start something new as I felt a new appreciation for life after that summer. We started out small, a light barbell workout and agreed to do push-ups every day. Soon I was waking up and going for walks while listening to uplifting music."

But he didn't stop there! The more motivated he became the more weight he lost.

"I started jogging and doing sprints, pushing myself a little more and more. I sought new ways to work out, I found YouTube channels like ‘Yoga with Adriene’ to help fill those times when I wanted a workout at home. I began doing yoga and working out almost every day."

He managed to lose a whopping 70 lbs in little over a year. So, he decided to post a before and after photo on his Reddit account and well people couldn't help but cheer him on. They called him a real-life Disney prince and absolutely loved his hair.

"I could barely sleep that night, it was amazing. The comments were all so uplifting and inspiring." But Jeffrey gives all the thanks to his mom that showed him what real determination looks like, "She’s the toughest person I know and gives me a constant appreciation for life."

"I was an overweight youth, I was bullied growing up. I’ve lived my life with body-image and confidence issues."

Jeffrey began his weight loss journey one step at a time

And now 70 lbs lighter, he looks amazing!

He wanted something new and refreshing to help him cope with the emotional trauma of his sick mother.

With enough motivation and dedication he managed to lose all that weight in a little bit over a year.

"I’ve lost a lot of weight, a lot of sadness, and a little facial hair."

From being insecure to having muscles

People told him that he looked like the Disney Prince from Beauty and the Beast. To satisfy them all he tried cosplaying as the famous Disney Prince.

It's as if the Prince came to life

"I’ve gained a whole new appreciation for life."

"Remember to always love yourself."

People were so supportive and amazed that they even suggested that he starts doing shampoo commercials.
