Incredible Artist Turns Disney Dads Into Real People And The Results Are Mind-Blowing

Jirka Väätäinen is a Finnish artist who specializes in graphic design, illustration, photo manipulation, and art direction. Clearly, a very skilled and talented artist, Jirka has gained a lot of notoriety recently for his incredible depictions of Disney characters in a much more realistic format.

Recently, Jirka set out to do an entire series based solely around the dads of Disney. From Ariel the Little Mermaid's father, King Triton, to Zeus as he's seen in Disney's Hercules... each piece of artwork is intricately detailed and utterly incredible. There is absolutely no denying he is a skilled and talented artist, and quite frankly, he's taken the dads of Disney to new levels of admiration.

#1 John, Tarzans Dad.

Tarzan's parents are seen only briefly in the movie, but there's just enough footage for Jirka to re-create John.

The image that Jirka created is so realistic it could almost be a photograph.

His work kind of makes you appreciate this little moment that baby Tarzan probably didn't remember as an adult.

#2 Cassim, Aladdin's Father.

In Aladdin and the King of Thieves, we are introduced to Aladdin's father, Cassim.

So much for Aladdin being the hunky Disney dude, check out Cassim.

No wonder Aladdin was a dreamboat of a prince though, right?

Good genetics.

#3 King Triton, Ariel's Father.

Ariel's father was a protective sort, worried about and overbearing to his 16-year old daughter, unable to deter her away from her obsession with the humans on land.

This realistic version of King Triton that Jirka created is a lot harder to disobey, that's for sure.

We'd love to see them together!

#4 Chief Powhatan, Pocahontas's Dad.

Chief Powhatan was very proud of his daughter, Pocahontas, in the Disney animated tale.

Realistic version.

The realistic rendering that Jirka created is unparalleled.

A parental bond.

Pocahontas was a real person with a much more tragic story than what was depicted in the controversial Disney movie.

#5 Zeus, Hercules Father.

The original Olympian God and the father of Hercules, Zeus!

The best part? Definitely the smirk. Totally nailed it.

What a dynamic duo!

The Disney Zeus was always very proud of the Disney Hercules.

Disney art is extremely popular.

Jirka's art, especially, has been taking the internet by storm and getting tons and tons of positive feedback!

Naturally, not everyone knew Aladdin even had a dad.

To be fair, though, it was an under-rated, straight to VHS sequel that came way down the line.

Everyone seemed to gush over how attractive Disney dads were portrayed.

And then there was this awkward comment.

It looks like thanks to Jirka, Aladdin has some competition.

Although, Aladdin is spoken for, so...

What's weird about that?

...Perhaps he is the most attractive to this person?
