Adorable Moment K9 Puppy Falls Asleep During Inauguration Ceremony Has Warmed People's Hearts

The wisest choice for humanity was made by someone some thousands of years ago when they domesticated dogs. We have adorable friends who brighten our lives even when they get into trouble.

Dogs not only increase our happiness but may also be trained to help people in a variety of jobs, like law enforcement. It's a profession that demands extensive training.

The newest additions to the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office in Colorado are sure to win over everyone they come into contact with. K9 Otis and K9 Bear, with their fluffy coats and puppy eyes, are prepared to report for duty as therapy dogs.

They will be making appearances at neighborhood schools, offering the kids consolation and cheery grins. An important swearing-in ceremony is appropriate for such a serious job.

The puppies posed for official photos that turned out to be adorable while sporting their official vests and badges. But all that enthusiasm had a price, and Bear began to nod off.

Everyone's hearts were warmed by the police puppy who fell asleep during his ceremony, showing just how exhausted he is.

Otis took over and was enthusiastic enough for them both. He listened intently to the official oath and raised his paw like a true officer.

Otis is undoubtedly prepared for the demands of his new position, and we have no doubts about his ability to succeed. To the amazement of everybody there, Bear eventually perked up and decided to have a puppy playfight.

These cute puppies have a long-term training waiting for them. They will need to learn how to help kids during stressful situations in addition to learning not to nod off during key events.

The stress hormone cortisol is lowered by caressing dogs, and Bear and Otis are eager to be petted!

K9 canines are carefully chosen; not every cute dog is fit out for this kind of work. Fortunately, K9 Bear and Otis have the ideal dispositions for this work.

We can't help but smile at them, therefore we know they will spread happiness wherever they go. It's great to see that law enforcement understands the value of therapy animals in giving people comfort.

Let's not pass judgment on baby Bear for being tired; we've all had days when we felt like going back to bed to sleep straight away. His more composed personality may be just what some kids need in trying times—a kind confidant with whom they can confide all of their secrets.

They still need to grow into their large dog vests and learn not to play fight on significant occasions, so they have a long way to go. We wish K9 Otis and K9 Bear the best of luck as they have been given a very significant responsibility.
