Adorable Little Puppy Makes Sure That Her Mom Knows Dad Is Hers And Only Hers

People say that dogs don't play favorites and love each human in their family differently. However, it's hard to believe that sometimes especially when our dogs clearly pay special attention and affection to that one person in the house.

If it's not you, it can get easy to feel jealous and even frustrated. After all, who wants to get picked over by a creature so sweet and pure as dogs?

Being picked as their favorite person is like an honor. You wear it with pride because it kind of signifies you did something right by them.

If you believe that dogs just show their love differently though, you may find their seeming preference for other people in your house a little funny and that's exactly what this wife feels about their little pup.

While she and her husband both raised the pup and both showered it with so much love, the pup seems to have a preference for one of them and isn't ashamed to show it.

Meet Bristol, daddy's little girl

Much like any other dog out there, this pup named Bristol has so much love to give the world, however, it seems that she has reserved the bulk of it for only one human - her human dad Nathan McNeese. And she's not afraid to tell anyone that her dad belongs to her and only her even to her human mom Alicia.

Bristol has eyes for her dad and her dad only

Both Alicia and her husband Nathan raised Bristol ever since she was a tiny few-week-old puppy. As it seems though, the dog has a favorite parent.

And while a lot of people would get jealous of this kind of attention, Alicia doesn't really mind. She loves both Bristol and her husband equally so she simply closes an eye from time to time.

Bristol and her dad have an amazing bond

“Her go-to person is my husband,” the wife said. “They have this incredible, so-hard-to-explain bond. The best duo.”

Bristol has a certain look she always gives her mom

Oftentimes, it's just not enough for Bristol to be with her favorite human. She also needs to make sure that Alicia understands her place so she came up with a certain look to show Alicia whenever she feels Alicia's presence while she's having her dad time.

Alicia, of course, is just amused by the situation and she's even documented it with a bunch of photos showing Bristol's hilarious "dad's mine" face.

Bristol is pretty intent on making it clear who owns her dad

“At first, my head was resting on my husband’s shoulder,” Alicia said. “When I lifted my head she replaced it with hers. I think she was thinking, ‘He’s my human. Move on over, Mom..he’s mine. But she is also very sweet…when she wants to be!”

Who wouldn't want Bristol's attention? That tiny pup is just so adorable and looks like an angel.

If it were us, we'd probably do anything from stuffing her with treats to treating her like royalty just to have her favor. Thankfully, Alicia isn't as jealous and even enjoys her pup's love for her husband.
