Ultimately, the girlfriend feels like she and the baby would be a burden, but OP wants to tell his friend because he feels like he deserves to know.

This person finds it weird that she's not wanting to tell her baby daddy, and the comments are justifying OP for what he's saying.

This is absolutely true because no matter what the child deserves to know the father and if she tells him and he doesn't want to be in the kid's life then that's on him.

They are insane and the father does deserve to know. Whatever he does after he finds out is up to him but he should at least know about the kid.
