Adorable Cat Power Point Presentation Created By A Child Convinces Her Parents To Get Her A Cat

Many of us knew the adolescent struggle of wanting a cat but having parents who resisted the idea of getting a family cat. Some people are just naturally incredibly persuasive, though.

The art of persuasion is a gift only some people possess. Christopher Doyle, a Toronto resident, recently went viral on Twitter after tweeting a PowerPoint presentation that his daughter made to convince them that the family needs to adopt a cat.

Not only are the points she made in support of cats solid and logical, but they're also hilarious and persuasive at the same time. The girl obviously had to do a lot of cat related research before showing the cat positive presentation to her parents but she also made a lot of promises that she's intending to keep.

Cat lovers everywhere responded with enthusiasm and the presentation immediately went viral when Doyle shared it online, and the daughter decided to use it as additional leverage to get herself a much desired kitty cat.

This kid's definitely going places.... hopefully with a cat!

Doyle's daughter insists on adopting a black cat due to the neglect they face on a daily day basis either because of superstition or other factors.

The girl's concerns are actually valid because according to Kentucky Humane Society Communications Director Andrea Blair, the organization has been receiving a lot of posts on their Facebook page from concerned people who are pleading with them to stop all-black cat adoptions whenever Halloween is right around the corner.

“They have the very best intentions, but the unintended consequences are the perpetuation of the myth – which leads to black cats spending even more time in shelters.”

According to Blair, “Because of their common color, [black cats] are the [ones] who are most likely to be overlooked in favor of cats with more varied color patterns. Black cats often take two to three times longer to get adopted.”

Nevertheless, Doyle is still hesitant about adopting a cat due to his wife's allergies.

Social media users were quite impressed by the little girl's efforts and even suggested a couple of breeds that wouldn't affect his wife's health.
