Artist Reimagines Disney Cartoons As Anime In Stunning Illustrations

Disney is at the top of the list when it comes to this popular regressing trend.
Has any other generation of adults ever been so fixated on the cultural items they adored as children? A lot of people consider the Marvel movies to be almost religious, and many millennials still hold fond memories of Harry Potter despite the author's swift public fall from grace.
It seems that many of us are addicted to regressing, and Disney is at the top of the list when it comes to this popular trend. It would appear that the majority of the company's fans are not the seven-year-olds who know every word of the Frozen movies.
On social media, it appears that Disneyland is crowded with people who are old enough to pay taxes, wearing Mickey's ears, and getting lost in the trademarked character sauce. Everyone has various passions, so if you're an adult who adores anything related to the most magical location on earth, you're probably not doing anyone any damage.
Some people, though, are not entirely certain about this. This was recently highlighted in a tweet by @verycalmchowdr, who wrote, "We need to do something about Disney grownups," and included screenshots of a video on TikTok in which a woman claimed she had waited three years to embrace Goofy again.
Some people were perturbed by this snide assessment, and others were bothered by the infatuation with the company. There may occasionally be some truth to the Consoomer meme.
For certain people, being a Disney adult is embarrassing beyond belief. A Disney adult is someone who is obsessed with the company, buying limited-edition products like popcorn buckets and mouse ears as soon as they are released, posting selfies at Cinderella's Castle and the Purple Wall, all while wearing rose-gold mouse ears.
If you identify as a Disney fan as an adult, you are essentially admitting that you are an uncritical bubblehead who is ensconced in your privilege, suspended in a state of perpetual adolescence, and who was fed a diet of wasp-waisted princesses, talking animals, and dancing candelabras, and who refuses to acknowledge the sobering truth that dreams don't actually come true. With the amount of entertainment that Disney brings to our screens and considering how long they've lasted, it's no surprise that there are adults who are still huge fans of them. Disney has been there since our childhoods and some of us still grow up with that Disney fantasy in our minds.
