We're back at it again with another interesting Reddit post that we are going to be looking into and this one was posted to the malicious compliance threat. We've been absolutely loving this malicious compliance thread because of how many funny stories we've been able to find here.

This thread is basically where people have complied with someone but it turns out to bite the other person in the butt anyway. Sometimes we've been in situations where someone tells us to do something and we're like "Yeah okay I'm going to do that" basically just so you can see we are right about the outcome.

These situations are all too common and we love hearing about them so we are giving you the scoop on this story today from Reddit. This woman comes to Reddit to talk about an airport employee who was doing the most at their security check for their bags. Ultimately, OP decided to do exactly what the airport employee said which in return, outsmarted him in front of everyone at the airport.

First off people told her that it was an airline employee and not security which is even more ridiculous.

People definitely were not impressed with the airline employee and for a good reason because clearly they don't care.

I don't know if there are any of those still around but they definitely aren't the cheap ones anyway.

I mean at this point it is what it is though as long as it meets all the requirements.

Seems like maybe they were right in saying that this is what any normal human would do.

Honestly this is definitely a safety thing for planes but we get it if it's off by just a little bit.

Well I guess that's a different perspective that we need to look at.

We totally feel like this person was either taking their job a little bit too seriously or they were having a really bad day. We do know that there are safety concerns with an overweight plane, which is part of the reason for weight limits, but also, there are also ways to approach the situation.
