Guy Is Concerned With A Roommate Who Didn't Clean Up The Period Blood On The Toilet Seat In A Shared Bathroom
This is yet another mundane situation that isn't that juicy, but still is worth looking into.

Welcome back here to another post where we will be looking into a Reddit post that was submitted to the AITA thread. This thread is often used for people who are looking for unbiased opinions and advice on some sort of situation that happened in their life.
Ultimately we love looking into these posts because it truly is entertaining, plus it's always interesting to see the different perspectives and opinions that people take on a particular situation. So with this being said, in today's post we are going through a topic and post that actually isn't that pressing or crazy.
Sometimes these posts can be heavy, but sometimes they are mundane and ultimately aren't a huge problem in the grand scheme of things. So in this post, a guy is coming to Reddit to see if he's wrong for expecting a girl roommate to clean up after leaving period blood on the toilet seat.
Now some people might already be forming their opinion on this, but you'll want to hear the full story and the update to see why exactly he was upset about this. Let's go ahead and dive in so we can see the full post, plus all of the best comments on the post as well.
OP starts off by explaining the situation that happened with his girlfriend's roommate and how she left period blood on the seat.

He says that his girlfriend wasn't on the same page with him and said that it was understandable that she left it there.

He did leave us an update and said that him and his girlfriend are no longer arguing and that she now agrees with him on the situation.

People in the comments immediately agreed with him and told him that it is unacceptable for her to leave it for others.

People who have had a lot of experience in this category also said that it is unacceptable for her to leave the mess.

A lot of the comments were helpful and ultimately gave OP lots of advice, to which he kept asking for and people were very helpful.

It seems like everyone agreed and there were a lot of comments because people either had their own experiences or they just felt like they had beneficial advice for OP.

People then had a few questions about the extent of the mess because the way he described it made it seem like it was very bad. Even from this reply it seems like quite a lot.

Most women do check behind themselves because we know it can happen, but I don't get why she didn't notice the blood especially if it was a lot.

It's absolutely not normal and most women know how messy it can be to be on your period which should make you pay even more attention.

We definitely feel like OP had a reasonable ask but maybe someone should check on the girl to make sure she's okay. She's probably embarrassed but this will hopefully help her pay more attention to her surroundings after using the restroom especially with a shared bathroom.
