It's not every day that we get to see unreleased patented designs that these top companies are working on. I mean, you have to understand that these top companies are probably always looking for the next big thing to create, but we don't always get the inside scoop on it.

That's why we wanted to share these 8 patented designs that are from some of the most known companies in the world. It's awesome to see that these companies really don't take any time off when it comes to coming out with the next best thing whether that be tech or getting us to the moon.

Regardless, we think you're going to enjoy hearing about these really awesome patented designs that you may have never seen and probably definitely have never heard of. Even if this doesn't sound like something you're interested in, you're sure to be surprised by some of these designs.

The Freedom Suit

The Freedom Suit is a patented design made by the brand Fluglicht.

The idea is to have a way to fly, not for transportation, but simply for the enjoyment of being able to fly.

It's an exoskeleton that resembles the structure of a bird's wings in order to help humans enjoy flight.

The suit is said to be thought up by many people with the same desire and vision to help humans fly.

Here's a bit of a close up to the exoskeleton patented design to help you get a better look at what direction they're going in.

Basically it'll work by allowing the human to flap their hands/wings along with hydraulics to move them in order to maintain flight.

Apple iMag

The Apple iMag is a thought-up concept by Apple to enhance mobile gaming.

The idea is to give mobile gamers a way to switch up how people can use their mobile devices to play games.

The concept is adding a magnetic accessory that allows people to place their phone in to give them the ultimate experience when mobile gaming.

There are multiple pieces of the accessory that can allow the user to switch out and choose which accessories to use.

This allows the gamer to switch up how they'd like to play the game.

This allows users to have a gaming setup for each of their specific games.

Apple iScribe Air

Apple iScribe Air is changing the way we write by allowing people to use this pen without a surface at all.

It's interesting because it is showing a pen that doesn't need a surface in order to write at all.

This pen allows for creators and designers to freely write, draw, and create.

It uses things like motion sensors, cameras, and other high end technology in order to write without a surface.

Apple iShield

Apple is clearly working on a innovative way for them to avoid screen cracks in the future.

This is a little device that can help to shield the phone screen if it happens to be dropped.

This is a close up of the device where it shows the protective cushions that are on there to help cushion the screen if dropped.

Basically it's a smart device that enables whenever it makes specific movements.

Essentially it understands if the phone is free falling and will push it's pins out in order to protect from the fall.

They'll be placed in the four corners as showed here to break the fall.

The MonoWheel

Ford has brought this concept of being able to transform from a unicycle type of motor vehicle to a four-wheel motor vehicle.

Their goal is to bring a new versatility to their car by being able to switch between them.

This is what Ford shows as the four-wheeled version of this vehicle.

This is a close up of what the Mono Wheel looks.

The advanced suspension system is exactly what makes this able to happen.

 “At the touch of a button, the rear of the car will rise from the ground with the wheel disengaging. The motorized hub then effortlessly attaches, allowing the driver to continue their journey on the MonoWheel.”

Facebook's Optical Drift

Optical Drift is Facebook's new way of video calling in the future.

The main feature of this device is that it is levitating.

It's essentially supposed to allow you to not be in a fixed space while video calling like you normally would.

This camera is able to spin 360 degrees and adjust levitation to keep you in frame.

“The user simply has to set it up in a convenient location and then move freely in the knowledge that the camera tracks your movement and adjusts to keep you in the center of the frame and forever in focus.”

Google Palm Reader

This isn't exactly as crazy as it looks, but definitely futuristic.

It's actually a pair of glasses that can display information on any surface, like your palm.

It's an interesting concept with the glasses using a projector and camera to record and process the information.

It's a very quick way to get access to information, literally right at the palm of your hand.

They're marketed as great for those on the go.

Samsung's Smart Sight

This Samsung creation is a pair of contact lenses with a special capability.

It's able to show you information as if it's right in your range of vision.

These lenses can be used for augmented or virtual reality opportunities.

It's probably one of the most futuristic types of products we've seen.

These things really look like they are coming from the future. All of these seem extremely futuristic and not like something that we'll see soon, but maybe in the coming years.

Regardless, we can look back and remember that we heard about those cars, electronics, and other smart devices when they were just an idea and a patent.
