When dealing with kids at a daycare, you can never be too relaxed. From playful giggles to messy mishaps, the dedicated staff members are always prepared to handle any situation that arises.
Our story takes us to a seemingly ordinary day at a daycare, where one of the staff found themselves in a poopy situation. And little did they know that their attempt to provide a solution would attract backlash from an unhappy pair of parents.
The incident began innocently enough when one of the kids soiled their underwear. OP immediately separated the boy from the other kids and took him to the bathroom for a thorough cleanup.
Cleaning up after a child is no easy feat, but OP was up to the challenge. They took their time to wipe him and put him in a squeaky clean diaper.
With the child now clean, it was time to face the poop-filled underwear. The first step was for OP to disinfect the toilet, then put on some gloves to battle it out with the poop.
OP carefully gripped the edges of the underwear, submerged it into the toilet, and kept flushing till the running water rinsed away a considerable amount of residue.
Finally, they sealed the fairly-clean underwear in a bag, ready to be sent home. However, what seemed like a practical solution quickly turned into a source of contention when the child's parents arrived to pick up their son.
The parents expressed their disgust at OP's method, deeming it "gross and unsanitary." Despite their explanations, the parents were adamant that the underwear should not have been rinsed in the toilet, as they feared it would teach their child bad habits.
The parents have now decided to lodge a complaint to OP's boss. Scroll down to find out how the story unfolds.
