Student Snaps At Teacher After She Made A Classmate Wait 20 Mins Outside And Refused To Open The Door
“She leaves students outside for 10-15 minutes at a time, no matter how many times the student knocks, she will not open the door.”

Teachers often make rules to ensure that nothing ever interrupts their class and that everything goes according to plan. Schoolchildren usually hate these rules since they make their lives harder, but they are sometimes still essential and in their best interests, even if they can't see it now.
However, some teachers tend to abuse their power and impose ridiculous rules that discourage children from learning but protect the teacher's ego. Children usually try to defy these rules and often get punished for it, so no matter how ridiculous the teacher's rules are, they still have to respect them.
Imposing rules that don't make sense will only make schoolchildren hate their teachers more. It discourages them from getting too involved in the class and makes them not look forward to attending.
A Redditor who goes by the username u/SunShy970 made a post on the r/AmItheAhole subReddit where they explained how they snapped at their Spanish teacher after she made a student wait for 20 minutes and still didn't open the classroom door to let them in. The user got a lot of different reactions to their post, scroll down to check out the full Reddit post, and scroll a little further to read the comments from the original post.

Reddit: r/AmItheAholeSchool children don't usually have much control over that.
Reddit: r/AmItheAholeThe “I dismiss you not the bell” teachers are the worst.
Reddit: r/AmItheAholeYou can't punish students for something they have no control over.
Reddit: r/AmItheAholeThe school board needs to be informed about this.
Reddit: r/AmItheAholeThe rule doesn't make any sense.
Reddit: r/AmItheAholeThe teacher is deliberately being spiteful.
Reddit: r/AmItheAholeThe teacher has the option to switch jobs.
Reddit: r/AmItheAholeAll students should be inside after the bell rings.
Reddit: r/AmItheAholeNot all kids live in the area and some need more time to get to school.
Reddit: r/AmItheAholeOP went about it the wrong way.
Reddit: r/AmItheAholeThis rule would make more sense in college, but definitely not high school.
Reddit: r/AmItheAholeThe Spanish teacher is being intentionally spiteful and making her students' lives harder for no valid reason. This issue should be brought up with the school board because this teacher is obviously enjoying all the power she has over her students and is abusing that power.
