Old Navy Has Accused A Black Customer Of Stealing His Own Jacket And He Then Shares The Story On Facebook

Racism in this country is real and this story just proves how real it is.

Shopping is supposed to be a fun and relaxing experience, but for one man, 29-year-old James Conley, it was the total opposite. In fact, it was completely humiliating. More often than not, people have the tendency to judge based on looks and that is never okay. Especially if it's a racial judgment. When James went shopping at Old Navy, he was shocked when the employees accused of trying to steal his own jacket. He is not alone with injustice while going for an innocent purchase at a local store.

He then shared a series of photos and videos sharing the incident with these racist employees. “I was accused that I didn’t pay for my blue bubble jacket that I got for Christmas that I wore into the store,” he wrote. His story has attracted the attention from people around the world and plans to fight back against racism. James Conley was a regular customer at Old Navy until he had a shopping experience that he will never forget.

Why don't you just admit that you're racist instead of making yourself sound even more ridiculous?

This was a huge sterotype and they couldn't make it look any more obvious...

Here they are still trying to make it seem like the jacket was being stolen.

These people really have no business working customer service...

No surprise there...

Hey, it's a good thing though that the whole world knows now what these people look like.

Leaving the shop, James couldn’t believe what had just happened.

Thankfully, Old Navy (owned by Gap Inc.) released a very apologetic statement about the situation and those employees have now been fired.
