Living with a roommate is difficult but demanding something like this is kind of ridiculous.

We're back again today with yet another Reddit post from the AITA thread, and we are here to share a pretty interesting story. We always like to go into detail about these posts so you can get the full story of how things are and what people are posting about.
With that being said, we are diving into a post today that has to do with a girl who has a roommate who is going through a diet at the moment and finds it hard to be on that diet when OP is at their place cooking. Now, this is a pretty interesting situation because not many people would ask their roommate to stop eating in or something like that just because they are on a diet.
But that's exactly what this roommate did, and so OP, of course, said something back and let her roommate know that her weight loss or gain has nothing to do with her. We don't blame OP, but she's looking for advice to see if she's in the wrong for telling her roommate this, even though she asked OP for a ridiculous request.
Without further ado, we're going to dive in and show you the full post, plus some awesome comments left on it as well. So let's dive in and check it out.
OP starts off by giving us some insight into her life and relationship with her roommate and how her roommate has recently become obsessed with an internet diet.
u/DesignerInfluence921She then starts talking about what happened with the eating and cooking situation and how her roommate became really upset with her.
u/DesignerInfluence921OP did try to do some things to help accomodate for her roommate in making her life a little bit easier with her diets. But this wasn't enough for her.
u/DesignerInfluence921She said that it was hard to do because of their schedules but her roommate acted ridiculous about the situation.
u/DesignerInfluence921This is where many of us started to feel some type of way about the roommate and this is where many said the roommate was TA.
u/DesignerInfluence921She gave a little disclaimer at the bottom as well explaining her language barrier.
u/DesignerInfluence921Ultimately people jumped in saying that she was NTA for this and that her roommate is dealing with her own issues that have nothing to do with OP.
sandwich-435This might be an unfortunate living situation for the moment while they both enjoy different things but it's neither of their faults.
BaileythenerdThis is true too though that the lack of food probably is making her angry and just overall really irritable.
BaileythenerdHer roommate does need to take responsibility for herself but maybe this is an opportunity for OP to give her some advice.
tosser9212Throwing out the food though was very disrespectful and we don't blame OP for being extremely upset about this.
TopAd7154Well, this was an interesting story. OP definitely was not in the wrong when it came to this situation, but we hope her roommate gets more of an idea of how she should control herself.
It's not OP's fault at all, but maybe OP could give her roommate some advice on how she can better take care of herself in this dieting phase of her life.
