Girl Took Her Roommate's Car For 86-Hour Road Trip Without Telling Him Exactly Where She Was Going
Clearly people think that leaving out details is okay in situations like this but it's clearly not.

We're here with another post from the Choosing Beggars thread on Reddit. This thread is known to call out tons of people who are scammy, taking stuff from people, or just generally being a "beggar," for the most part.
This thread is usually filled with tons of people who are doing things they're not really supposed to be doing. With this being said, we are looking into a situation where a girl took her roommate's car for a very long road trip from Maryland to Vegas.
The issue is that the roommate freaked out because he assumed that she'd be taking his car only a couple of hours away, not on an entire road trip, which obviously caused lots of problems here. We can imagine why he's mad, and it turns out that everyone in the comments understands why they are mad, too, because that's an 86-hour road trip.
Ultimately, we're going to be looking into this situation and seeing what people have to say about it because, clearly, the girl doesn't think that she's in the wrong for taking this car on that long of a road trip. So, if you're interested in seeing this full post and what people had to say in the comments section below, then keep on reading as we dive in and give you the full scoop.
This post was pretty straightforward and explained her side of the story but in her post she seems to be confused as to why the roommate was even upset about her taking the car that far.
u/melindseymePeople immediately came to the comments to calculate the amount of miles that they took to go from one place to another and it's astounding.
EnfinityXIt turns out that everyone is on the guy's side because OP shouldn't have taken his car that far at all. Many people wouldn't even take their own car that far.
Rickest_Rick86This is the part that surprises us all because we're not sure how she didn't know that this wasn't going to be acceptable.
dead4sevenThe friends obviously didn't think this was a bad idea or maybe she told them that he said it was okay and that's why they tagged along.
RedditI don't think many of us would have driven that far period so we can't imagine that they were in the wrong to take someone else's car that far.
EmmieJones15Many people don't even think to travel that far, much less on a whim or to a place that wasn't previously planned.
RedditThis is true too though but she did take something that wasn't hers in a sense because she took advantage of what her roommate was giving her.
MatthewTheCarrThis is how I would feel too because it would have ruined the whole roommate relationship and I'd have no respect for them after this.
RedditIt turns out that people definitely think this girl is in the wrong and we do hope that they can salvage their friendship because if we were this guy, we'd freak out too.
NemuNemuChanWe definitely think that the girl is in the wrong here, and so many people had so much to say in the comments section about this because we can't even imagine that this would cross our minds. She should have definitely asked if this was okay and it's odd that she doesn't even feel like she's wrong for doing it.
