We are back today with yet another post that we'll be looking into from the AITA Thread on Reddit. This thread is one that we enjoy going over because it usually has lots of engagement and comments that are left on it.

Ultimately, people come here looking for unbiased opinions on their situation, and the people of Reddit are here to give it to them. With this being said, we're going to be going over a post that is about a girlfriend who is mad at her boyfriend for not doing anything for her birthday.

Now, we can understand why people might be upset about this, but some people don't take birthdays that seriously, and they aren't really into celebrating them. However, once you hear the whole story, you will understand more about why she was upset and also more about why her boyfriend decided not to do anything for her birthday.

OP tells us about how his girlfriend doesn't ever really celebrate his birthday but that he always celebrates hers, but this time he decided to change things up.

People came to the comments quick to let him know that he might want to find another girlfriend because she doesn't seem like the type that's going to put him first and really appreciate him.

He simply treated his girlfriend the same way that she was treating him. She can't be mad because she hasn't acknowledged his birthday before.

A lot of people are calling her selfish and asking him why he even chooses to be with her after the way that she has been acting.

He really should talk to her and let her know just exactly why he decided to not do anything for her birthday after she decided not to do anything for his for the past years.

Pretty much these people are saying to treat people the way that you want to be treated and that's exactly what he's doing.

OP might need to be honest with himself and the way that he's looking at his relationship and his girlfriends.

She is definitely a hypocrite and we really just hope that he is able to explain to her why he did what he did and hopefully she'll understand.

It definitely does sound like he needs a new GF and maybe he should consider what is in store for him in the future.
