Woman Accused Of Favoritism After Giving Niece Bedroom With Bathroom While Making The Other Sleep With Parents
We're here with another great Reddit post on the AITA thread where the verdict was that OP was TA.

We are excited to be back with another Reddit post that was posted on the AITA thread by someone looking for advice about a situation that happened. Now, this story is one that the verdict ended up being that OP was indeed TA in the situation.
This situation is about a woman who ended up making what was considered a pretty unfair decision when it came to living arrangements for her nieces. She thought that she wasn't wrong for it because it wasn't necessarily "unfair" but the comment suggested that she was TA for it.
We love to let you read the whole story and the comments so that you can form your own opinion instead of just going on what the Reddit verdict was. With that being said, that's why we decided to cover this story and see what people had to say about it.
Ultimately I think many of us might have to agree but decide for yourself whether or not OP was wrong in her decision about where her nieces would sleep. Let's dive in and see what happened, what people had to say, and what the verdict was on the situation and her actions.
Keep reading to hear more about it.
OP started off the post by explaining that her brother needed some help and she explained who that includes.

Then she started explaining a bit about their living situation and how their home is laid out.
SignificanceNew3200
She showed them the rooms but this is when things started to escalate and she was called unfair.
SignificanceNew3200
Her sister in law clearly wasn't happy with it and the comments seem to be on her side.

This is the first comment and it addressed some things that we definitely were all wondering about.

People weren't very nice in the comments and they let OP know quick that she was TA in this situation.

This is definitely something that we were all thinking. I was wondering why she didn't put the two children in the room together and then leave the parents in their own room.
Unit-00
Everyone seems to say that she is indeed TA and that her favoritism is showing. It's clear that she's treating her niece different from her step niece.
sed-dy
It's obvious that there was another way to lay this out and she just didn't take advantage of that at all.
Impossible-Vehicle79
I'm sure the step niece definitely feels some type of way about it and so she should feel bad for making that decision.
idontcare8587
This is true because I'm sure the other niece does feel sucky because of the whole situation even after everything they've already been through.
Lady_Dai
Yep, she made it harder on herself and everyone else instead of just keeping the girls together in one room.
Rhuthbarb
This is the very obvious solution everyone is telling her.
Zealous-Ebb-970
Since they're almost the same age it really does make sense to put them in a room together.

Now, this Reddit post had a pretty large pool of YTA votes for this situation, and rightfully so. We do agree with most of the comments in saying that there was a very fair solution that she could have done but instead went out of her way to make it worse for them.
