The minimalist NEKO cat tree, designed by Yoh Komiyama for the Japanese company Rinn, is the latest design to capture our interest. The main cylindrical structure is made of natural wood slate gotten from the Hida region of Japan.

It allows playful patterns of light to come in through the openings and allows cat owners to see and play with their pets as well. This beautiful multi-story cat tree also has an attractive marble foundation, and this helps keep the cat cool.

Not just that, it also has a hemp central pillar that is covered in cords that serves as a place for scratching. This fusion of marble and natural wood, according to Rinn, represents a cultural fusion between the wooden materials of the East and the stone materials of the West.
