Getting old... It's a privilege that isn't afforded to everyone, and we should feel blessed, but you know what? It can sting a little.

In fact, I am turning 30 this year, and it stings - A LOT.

I don't know why, but 30 just feels really freaking grown up. I know i'm already an adult, but 30 feels like a real adult.

Another thing that's kind of difficult is being at that age where you remember things that young people don't remember. Like VHS, Super Nintendo, cell phones that couldn't take photos and couldn't do anything but call and send a text... AND YOU HAD TO PAY FOR EACH TEXT MESAGE.
