Being a middle schooler is not easy at all, it's one of the hardest periods people go through in life, that's when most of the bullying and self-hatred is usually generated. Which is why these amazing teachers from Forney, Texas's Warren Middle School were kind enough to volunteer their time and effort this summer to make the girls' and boys' bathrooms a safe haven by displaying uplifting, reaffirming messages of positivity and hope all over its walls and doors.
It's a simple and cheap concept that would have a tremendous and positive impact on the students who struggle every day with body image issues and aren't ready yet to love and accept themselves for who they are.
“It’s the age when they need the most love, but also the age when they’re the hardest to love.”
