We've got information in the palm of our hands. We've got books, schools, and the media to aid our thirst for knowledge.
Although it's not possible to know everything, there should be substantial knowledge about general things, namely medical information. Or at least things that would make sure you wouldn't be harmed because of the misconceptions.
People who work in the medical field would come across a variety of persons that are often misinformed. The unique ones that would pass during their shifts are more than what you would meet in a lifetime.
So in a Reddit post, a Redditor asked medical professionals about their encounters with people who have stupid misconceptions about the human anatomy. They did not disappoint, the answers are so ridiculous that you know you can't make stuff like this up.
