Josiah Vargas was astonished to find heaps of cash next to his McMuffin in his McDonald's bag. As he was getting ready to eat his sandwich, the fast food enthusiast videotaped the moment he found a sizable chunk of money in his McDonald's breakfast bag.
He was shocked after his strange drive-through encounter while sitting in his car. When he opened the bag containing his sausage McMuffin, he discovered hundreds of dollars in cash, which made him lose his appetite.
He can be seen in the video looking through the McDonald's bag of cash that had been divided up into smaller zip-top bags. This helped him understand that he had made a mistake.
He believes that the money was probably intended to be deposited from the store's earnings. “So now I have to return it because I’m a good person, I guess," he added with some reluctance.
Then, Josiah took the bag and entered the fast food outlet to return the unintentionally acquired cash. He captured on camera the amazing moment he gave back the money as the employees applauded him for being sincere and appearing to be relieved.
He is heard making a lighthearted comment to the staff, "Are you guys laundering money around here?"
