Take a look at the train scale.
With the Marvel Cinematic Universe having more or less 27 movies, you would definitely wonder which one of them takes the prize as the best one of them all. A lot of these movies became the biggest successes of their own time, and each and every one of them has its own quirks and features that people appreciate.
Even though there are critics out there who would say otherwise, Marvel truly got some of the best movies there are in the 21st century. The whole franchise caused such as cultural impact, right from the very release of Iron Man in 2008.
Many people would rank these movies according to production, the storyline, the soundtrack, and the overall impact—just like how these things are normally done. However, a certain person out there decided to go off the grid and rank the movies using a completely different category, and it involves trains.
Yup, you heard it right—trains! A user on Tumblr with the handle tilt-shift-blur decided to rank the Marvel movies according to specific criteria: the number of times a train appears in that particular film.
Depending on the number of appearances of trains in the movie, the user gave each movie a score on a scale of zero to ten, accompanied with explanations. Scroll down to see the hilarious post below!
For a movie literally named Iron man, there were no trains sighted so the user had to give it a 0/10 for the first movie, and -100/10 (mainly because of Elon Musk's cameo). The Incredible Hulk referenced a subway—which kind of counts, so they gave it a 1 out of 10.
Thor then got a 0/10 because there are no trains in space. Oops!
Captain America: The First Avenger got a 7 out of 10 because it got this "cool train heist scene." The Avengers, on the other hand got a 3 out of 10 for Cap telling the police to help people get into the subway.
The third movie of Iron Man gained 0 points again—no trains. But ooh, Thor: The Dark World got a dashing 10 out of 10 because he actually rode a train!
Captain America: The Winter Soldier and the Guardians of the Galaxy (both of its movies) went down with zero. The Age of Ultron got a 6, and Ant-Man got a whooping 9 out of 10!
Civil War got a 1 out of 10, though, because trains weren't found.
Doctor Strange got a 6 out of 10, while Spiderman: Homecoming hit the jackpot of 10/10. Thor:Ragnarok, as much of a charming movie it was, got a 0/10 because there really are no trains in space.
Black Panther got 7/10. This should've went higher, though!
Infinity War also got a 6 out of 10, but hey, that movie definitely deserved better. The sequel of Ant-Man got zero.
Next up, space finally got some trains this time so Captain Marvel got an 11 out of 10! Endgame, on the other hand, got a score of zero, despite how iconic it was.
If you were to rank the Marvel movies, what kind of category would you use? Using trains is definitely an interesting take and hey, it's a hilarious one, too!
