Dog Missing For Six Years Found In Woods, But Family Doesn't Want Her Back

Our doggos are living creatures and they feel hot too!
Summertime pet safety is critical during the dog days of summer. Your beloved dog may suffer when the heat outside reaches 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
A dog can't take off its shirt and walk around the house in boxer shorts like dad. Some dogs have big hairy coats that keep them warm during the winter, but that fur coat can't be shed in the summer, and the furrier the dog, the hotter it'll get.
So, should you leave your air conditioner on while you're away? This is the situation a Redditor, r/spykid, found himself during one summer season.
The original poster works away from home while his roommate works from home and uses the AC more, and the OP’s dog benefits from the cooling. But lately, the roommate started working away from home, so the OP wanted him to leave the AC on while he was away for his dog.
The roommate refused and clearly stated that he had to pay more if the AC was to be left for the dog. This prompted the OP to bring this issue to the AITA community to know if he was wrong to demand AC for his dog during the summer.
His stand was supported by the majority of Redditors that commented under this thread. Scroll down to read all about what transpired.
Here are what Redditors had to say:
Pets are special, and for many people, they are part of the family. When we are unable to be with our pets, we want them to be safe and comfortable.
It is an entirely different thing for those who don’t have such a likeness for pets. While you are trying to keep your pet safe from a heat wave, they see you as being overcautious, and this is exactly where the misunderstanding comes from.
