Doing a certain thing is totally ok when you are single, but a completely different thing when you have family and kids. Society simply demands that you fit the mold and act the way a responsible family person should.

And that causes some problems. Some people simply define rules and refuse to do what others tell them.

And if they are not hurting anyone, that's okay. But what if they start to hurt others?

One Redditor shared an interesting story about his GF and her parents, who were swingers. The problem was that they weren't discreet at all, and society's judgment ruined the girl's childhood.

Now she doesn't want any contact with them, and they won't take no for an answer.

It is a huge blessing to have a family that loves and supports you. But, occasionally, the family can cause you problems.

The parents in this story weren't doing anything wrong - they were having consensual sexual relationships with different people. But, the problem was that they weren't discreet.

And that hurt their kids.
