People tell all kind of fabricated stories online and most of the times they get caught.

Whoever said lying is easy, didn’t know what he was talking about. If you lie, please, make sure that it is about things that cannot be easily checked, and don’t involve other people. Think through all the steps, and first make a good construction, and then add details. Keep the story simple, so you don’t get mixed up. Find a lie that people would want to believe, so they wouldn’t check the information.

Now, after this little intro from the official con artist’s guide, 2019 edition, some things should be clear.

If this is too difficult for you, there is an easier solution- don’t lie. Unless you want to be called out like these people who lied online. They have tried and failed.
