Have you wished for something to watch that was adorable, heart-warming, as well as educational? This tear-jerking short film takes animation that's reminiscent of high budget Pixar films and tells an amazing story about a boy coming out! the film named "In A Heartbeat" is taking the internet by storm and is something that everyone should take the time to watch.
The film was made by two Ringling College of Art and Design students as part of their computer animation thesis, but now thanks to a Kickstarter that reached 5 times the original estimated costs and their long hours of hard work the pair, Beth David, and Esteban Bravo, have a 4 minute short film that has over 5 million views on Youtube, and crowds of people begging for a sequel.
This amazing animation shows a young boy dealing with his confusing feelings towards one of his handsome peer's something that's never been done by an animated film before, and shows the struggles of many LGBTQ people all over the world. It uses an amazing story to show understanding, acceptance, and that even though you may feel like it, you aren't alone in what you're feeling and there's nothing to be afraid of.
