Relationships are beautiful, and they can feel even better with date nights, don’t you agree?
Date nights are undoubtedly one of the greatest pleasures of being in a relationship. It’s always fun to enjoy new experiences with a partner and spend much required time with them.
These dates are also famous for strengthening bonds between partners. That’s why relationship counselors advise couples to go on a date as often as possible.
Even friendships benefit from date nights. Now imagine going out on a date with your friends and your partner. That’s certainly a recipe for uncontrollable fun.
We found a story on the AITA subreddit that shows another side to this. A Redditor shared that his girlfriend had invited him out on a date with her friends, and although he was told that her friends’ boyfriends would be present, they didn’t show up.
OP wasn’t bothered by this development, however, but it wasn't long before things went south. His girlfriend and her friends started to ignore him, coupled with the fact that he couldn't get some alone time with her.
OP soon got tired of this and informed his girlfriend via text that he would leave if she didn’t acknowledge his message in a few minutes. Unfortunately, she didn’t, and he left to see a game.
His girlfriend called much later, asking that he come to pick her up. However, OP was more concerned that it took her ages to realize he was gone.
Well, he refused to even entertain driving all the way back to get her. No prizes for guessing that they got into a fight.
