Woman Shares Her Jack-O’-Lantern’ And It’s The Laziest Pumpkin Carving Ever

There’s an interesting story about why we call pumpkin carvings jack-o’-lanterns. Halloween originates from Celts in Ireland, and they have a myth about a man called Stingy Jack.

He once tricked the Devil himself. After Jack died, he was doomed to roam the Earth for eternity because Heaven and Hell didn’t want to accept him.

People started creating demonic faces from squashes and turnips to scare this wandering soul away, creating the very first jack-o’-lanterns. This carving tradition became associated with Halloween, and they fit perfectly.

It became a tradition now, and a nice family get-together occasion. We are all trying to make the scariest pumpkins, but sadly, trying and accomplishing isn’t the same.

LisaShuBop shared her funny pumpkin carving on Reddit, and it’s as amazing as it is lazy. She captioned it with “My kind of effort” and shared a few photos of her “minimalistic” pumpkin design.

There’s undoubtedly something cute about this tiny smiley face. And it can also be an inspiration for all the lazy people out there. Anyone can do it, with minimal, really minimal effort.
