Dog-Fearing Woman Wonders How To Practice Sensitivity When Visiting Person Who's Overly Fond Of Their Dog

There was always so much more to him than we realized.
Unless you've been living under a rock or are just really young there's a solid chance you've heard of Nirvana and you know precisely who Kurt Cobain is. The music that essentially transformed a generation and defined grunge continues to touch lives despite the long-lasting loss of their front-man.
Despite the fact that Cobain died in 1994, the public continues to pour out fans who seek to know all there is about the man behind the music. Yet one thing that so many did not know until recently was that Cobain was a painter and a good one at that. The Seattle Art Fair has decided to host an exhibit in his honor featuring his incredible paintings that not only inarguably display the secret talent he possessed but teach fans everywhere just that much more about the vast dimensions of the artist's personality.
The exhibit was organized by an organization called United Talent Agency (UTA,) and took place at The Seattle Art Fair just briefly from August 3rd to August 6th. The Art fair also showcased a selection of his notebooks (that have been in storage since his death,) and a selection of works by other artists known for their rebellious personalities.
At least one painting may be recognizable to the most die-hard of Nirvana fans, of course. The untitled piece of artwork is also the cover for the Nirvana album Incesticide.
While fans everywhere are probably foaming at the thought of bringing one of these dark masterpieces home with them, UTA representative, Joshua Roth said that they are not for sale because:
It’s too hard to put a price on them, they’re very special to the family.
Being an artist, whether an artsy drawing/painting creative mind or a musical genius, must be a tough gig. Check out these cases where artists were completely ripped off by companies stealing their work.
