Our narrator’s (Original Poster’s) 25-year-old brother was far from the ideal boyfriend. He’d thrown himself into the dating game as far back as OP could remember, and let’s just say, if there were a trophy for relationship chaos, he'd be the undisputed champion. 

This young philanderer had left a string of broken hearts in his wake. Cheating scandals? He'd practically written the playbook. 

But that wasn’t even the juicy part—his current girlfriend so happened to be “the other woman” from his previous relationship. So, as you can see, OP’s brother had a love life that could rival an award-winning sitcom. 

Zooming into the now, OP swung by his parent’s place for a family barbecue. His infamous brother, who still bunked with them, immediately embraced OP in a bear hug.

In the midst of this brotherly embrace, OP noticed his brother’s arm seemed quite red and raw. That was his younger sibling’s cue to unveil his latest masterpiece—a brand new tattoo that screamed "LOYALTY" in elaborate cursive. 

This was probably the most hilarious cosmic joke OP had seen in a while; he couldn't help but burst into laughter. When his brother furiously inquired what was funny, OP highlighted the undiluted irony of the situation. 

The brother, caught in a blend of surprise and irritation, stormed off and proceeded to seclude himself in his room for the rest of the celebration.

The entire family insisted people could change, so OP’s reaction was uncalled for.
