There's a reason why Germany stands as the 7th happiest country in the world. A country is happy when the locals are happy, and when visiting tourists wish they could stay there.
The quality of life in Germany is one of the highest in the world! People there can actually decide how many hours they'd like to work in a given week.
Germans are all about love, access to healthcare, education, sports, and hobbies. They take this very seriously.
The control over the number of work hours gives them the break they need to polish their talents, connect with their loved ones and even get some alone time.
Their early closing hours, low cost of living, lots of public holidays and easy transportation is just the cherry on the cake. Everyone in Germany follows rules.
Although the taxes may be higher compared to other countries, it's still a win-win because they don't feel like a noose tightening around your neck. Of course, Germany wasn't always this happy.
Back in 2004, Germans were the unhappiest because of the high unemployment rates, but that's history now. Today, 75% of Germans between the ages of 15 and 64 have a job that pays well and offers security!
