And holy moly were dog owners of Reddit ready to share how they love to make their dogs feel like the most loved creature on the planet. From simple things like a "cheese/ice/bacon tax" and a dedicated spot on the bed to more extravagant things like an adorable bedtime routine or their own in-ground pool.

One of my favorite ways to spoil my pupper that may have been considered unconventional was a sort of bedtime routine. He slept on the couch most nights, despite the orthopedic dog bed I got for him.

Every night before I went to bed I would be sure to tuck him in with a blanket and pillow. As soon as I'd gently slide a pillow under his head and tuck a blanket around him, he would let out a tired sigh, as if he couldn't truly get a full restful night until he was tucked in.
