This Husband is Facing Prison Time After Exposing His Cheating Wife

Is there anything worse than finding out that your significant other is messing around? The only thing worse than making that discovery is facing jail time for doing so. One man in New Jersey is currently facing that sad, sad reality.

Sean Donis is facing serious jail time after he confronted his spouse about her infidelity after he discovered her in bed with another man. Howard Greenburg, Donis's lawyer, told a jury that his client "deserves a medal" for the amount of "restraint that he showed" during the incident. The fact he did not kill the other man, is a miracle in itself.

The confrontation occurred in 2016 in Rockland County at the home of a man named Albert Lopez, where Donis found his wife, Nancy, in bed with Lopez. Regardless of the details surrounding the story, Donis is facing major jail time, 15 years to be exact, and judgment from the general public. Why? Because Donis allegedly broke into Lopez's house and caught his naked wife in bed with Lopez. Upon making this grim discovery, Donis began to film his wife and the man and threatened to release the video to his social media accounts.

If you're wondering how the heck Donis was able to track his wife's whereabouts, look no further than the "Find My iPhone" app that all iPhone users have on their phones.  Well, he successfully found her, caught her in the act, recorded what he saw, and then sent the video around to all of their closest family and friends. Donis was clearly furious in the video and he can be heard violently shouting expletives towards his wife and the other man.

During the cringe-worthy situation, Sean exclaimed, "All on video! Both of you motherf*****s are fired tomorrow!", all while he was videotaping. It turns out that Lopez was the CEO of the company of which Nancy was an employee. Awkward.

Eventually, Lopez was able to escort Sean Donis out of his home while he was pelted with insults from the angry husband. After the confrontation, Donis continued to threaten Lopez through means of text messaging. He was quoted as saying, "Bring it, bro. Slept with my wife. Good one f****t".

Lopez told the court of his extreme fear and anxiety after the encounter with Donis and claimed that he felt extremely unsafe and threatened. Reports claim that Donis was at home with the couple's five-year-old child and he believes that his wife asked him to do so in order to sneak away and engage in inappropriate behavior with Lopez. Donis explained that his wife reportedly told him that she was going to dinner with friends in Elizabeth, New Jersey. However, Donis had previous doubts about his wife's fidelity and felt as though she was more than likely engaging in an affair.

Well, he was right.

Hearing the couple has finalized their divorce will surprise literally no one. Nancy filed for divorce directly following the incident and it came to a conclusion around 2017.

It is hard not to feel a great deal of sympathy for Sean Donis because finding out the person you love is cheating on you could possibly be one of the most painful things in this entire world. However, we must remember that what he did was illegal and threats are typically met with some form of legal action if reported. Donis's lawyers argue that "he deserves a medal for not responding in a violent manner; however, violence is illegal regardless of the situation and a lawyer, of all people, should understand that better than anyone else.

Fortunately for Sean, all charges against him were dropped after a Rockland County Supreme Court Justice found him not guilty. Donis states, “Just thank God it’s finally over,’’ said Donis, a florist from Clifton, NJ. “Now I can finally breathe.’’
