Husband Embarrasses His Wife While On Zoom Calls By Photobombing Each And Every One

Cara Fields is the Marketing Chief of Staff at Elanco, which is an animal health company based in Indiana. Because of the Coronavirus pandemic, Cara and her husband are now working from home. Like so many couples, they are also assisting their children with remote classes. All In all, they are facing the same challenges most of us do, and any work-life balance that used to exist before is now merged into one.

So, her hubby came up with a great way to give Cara and her coworkers a laughter break. Occasionally, when she’s has a work-related Zoom call, Cara’s husband nonchalantly comes into the background, always wearing childish costumes.

After Cara posted the photos of her spouse's gags on LinkedIn, they instantly went viral. “He has always loved wearing ridiculous things in public to embarrass me,” Cara says. “So when I converted our dining room into an office where my camera faced the dining room table, he saw a virtual opportunity to embarrass me during the pandemic.”

At first, he wore things he already had around the house, like his cowboy hat, hunting gear, and Hawaiian shirts. But everything quickly began to intensify. “Friends started mailing him Halloween costumes. I’m told that more costumes are in transit!” Cara says.

Cara’s LinkedIn contacts are not the only ones who love her husband’s escapades. “My colleagues love this. It’s so strange to see a team of people laughing while you’re presenting, and then realizing something ridiculous is going on behind you.”

“They almost always see him before I do,” Cara says. “It has definitely helped people remember to stop and laugh during these times.”

One online survey recently conducted showed that the majority of people actually liked working from home. Out of 2276 randomly selected Americans who are now working from home, 60% said that they would prefer working remotely “as much as possible” after the quarantine is lifted, and 40 percent stated they would like to return to the original workplace.

Cara’s husband probably belongs to the 60 percent….
