Tommy Hilfiger Have Just Released A Clothing Line Aimed At People With Disabilities

The clothes are designed to be more comfortable and accommodating for those with disabilities.

Nobody wants to feel limited by their disability, so the more options available to them to feel inclusive, the better. When you wear something you feel good in, the more confident you are, and that is something that everybody needs. Thanks to efforts to increase diversity and inclusiveness, Tommy Hilfiger has launched a clothing line that offers more options for children and adults with special needs.

With the launch of Tommy Adaptive, typical clothes (think your average skirts, dresses, pants, shirts and the like) are designed to be more comfortable for disabled people and accommodate them in their disability. The modifications include one-handed zippers, magnetic buttons, side-seam openings, bungee cord closures, velcro closures, adjustable hems, easy-open necklines and expanded back openings.

The promotional campaign also features several public figures from the disabled community. 

Tommy Hilfiger has just launched a clothing line for people suffering from physical disabilities.

Last year, Hilfiger expanded their collection to include clothing for people with special needs, designed to be more comfortable for disabled people.

The line includes all of your typical clothes, like dresses, pants, shorts, skirts, shirts and jackets. However, what is special about them is that the accommodate people whether they're missing a limb, autistic, or in a wheelchair.

The modifications include one-handed zippers, magnetic buttons, side-seam openings, bungee cord closures, velcro closures, adjustable hems, easy-open necklines and expanded back openings.

The campaign also features several notable figures - Paralympic gold medalist Jeremy Campbell; motivational speaker Mama Caxx, who has a prosthetic leg; dancer Chelsea Hill, who uses a wheelchair, and 18-year-old autistic chef Jeremiah Josey

"Tommy Adaptive's mission is to be inclusive and empower people of all abilities to express themselves through fashion", said the company.
