After Tokyo Got Hit By Heavy Snowfall, Its Residents Decided To Make The Best Out Of The Situation

Japanese people are pretty creative.

 This Monday, Tokyo experienced some heavy snowfall which caused a series of delays and travel chaos throughout the city. A lot of people decided to abandon their cars on roads and left them stranded there for an undetermined amount of time, trains also had to stop operating which left people stuck at the airport because 250 international flights ended up getting canceled.

Yukimura, a Tokyo resident told Bored Panda: “It hasn't snowed in Tokyo in four years. Four years ago we had even heavier snow and a lot less prep. This time everyone except me knew it was coming, apparently. Was a fun surprise for me though!”

Tokyo residents decided to make the best out of this situation and started to make snowmen, and since the Japanese always make sure that everything is perfect, the results were pretty amazing.
