Harry Potter Tweets So Funny They Must Be From Fred and George’s Joke Shop

by Edmund

J.K. Rowling began coming up with the wizarding world of Harry Potter sometime in 1990. Since then the world has spanned many areas. It has branched out to 7 main books, various complimentary books, 8 films based on the main book series, 2 films based on the complimentary book series, a play, a website and various theme park attractions.

It has also resulted in many fan works (such as fan fiction stories, retellings a of cannon Harry Potter material and parodies). It could be argued though that the following tweets are the greatest fan creation to have come out of Harry Potter.

Regardless, they are truly hilarious.

Arthur Weasley: What did he say?

*harry potter about to use floo powder for the first time*

molly: now remember to speak very, very clearly.

Brutal but technically not wrong.

it’s still so funny to me that when voldemort failed to kill baby harry in the first book it basically destroyed him when he literally could have just .... like ....... picked harry up out of his crib and yeeted him against the wall

Didn't someone make a web series about that?

Today is Harry Potter's 38th birthday, or as it should be known, Harry Potter and the Approach of Middle Age

Wow. Just... wow.

No idea where this is but I want in.

What in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter https://t.co/nsXydWd8tL

— j(ush)oel (@babajush) August 6, 2018

I guess it does. I never thought about the politics of Harry potter but this seems spot on.

In Harry Potter there's a recurring theme of Harry not offering any of his vast fortune to his poor friends and justifying it to himself that they'd be upset at him if he did and that tells us all we need to know about Rowling's politics

— Fin (@finryan87) July 18, 2018

I mean I guess. If you really want to downplay the series like that.

Harry Potter is a guy who peaks at being a high school quarterback and then drops out to become a cop

HAHAHA Likewise, I have no words. This is golden.

Someone needs to rewrite the series based on these titles.

Harry Potter and the Special Rock
Harry Potter and the Don’t Room
Harry Potter and his Furry Crime Dad
Harry Potter and the Hot Cup
Harry Potter and the Warm Bird Club
Harry Potter and the Absolutely Nothing Happens
Harry Potter and the Curse of the Sidequests

This is the version we all wanted.

I wish I couldn't relate to this.

Me at 14: *reads three Harry Potter books in one day*

Me at 27: *sees a text that’s longer than 2 sentences* holy shit, I just do not have the time for this

Need!

fantastic lofi beats and where to find them

— reply bi (@BUGPOSTING) November 21, 2018

Too true. Too real.

I'm tired of Slytherins getting all the "evil" rep just because we're ambitious. All the houses can be evil.

Evil Gryffindor? Popular jerks
Evil Ravenclaw? mad scientist
Evil Hufflepuff? henchman

— Rebecca Schaeffer (@rrschaeffer) November 14, 2018

He was. I'm guessing he never heard of picking on someone his own size... or age.

Voldemort was really beefing with a kid.

— Melanie Barnett (@PersnicketyK) August 19, 2018

Definitely the correct response to that.

hermione: i mean, it’s sort of exciting, isn’t it? breaking the rules.

Stop messing with your own continuity JK!

everyone:

JK Rowling: harry potter is gay

everyone:

JK Rowling: and african american

everyone:

JK Rowling: and a woman

— an pigeon (@imskytrash) November 24, 2018

Truer words have never and will never be spoken.

The Harry Potter franchise could have been a few books shorter if the adults just told Harry what the fuck was up

— Mac* (@Machaizelli) November 15, 2018

These are truly the words of the entire fandom.

person: do you remember that part in harry potter where-

me: i remember every part but go on

Restraint. Hermione had none and now an entire generation have this quote stuck in their heads.

Ron: “wingardium leviosaaah”

Hermione:
Don’t say it
Don’t say it
Don’t say it
Don’t say it
Don’t say it
Don’t say it
Don’t say it
Don’t say it
Don’t say it
Don’t say it
Don’t say it
Don’t say it

Hermione: “it’s leviOHsah not levioSAH”
